God may bless some people financially but he doesn’t always promise to do this. Sometimes people do it tough. Sometimes people suffer in poor countries. That doesn’t mean they have less faith or that they are less loved or even less blessed. We live in a fallen world and many of us will have to wait for the next life to escape poverty. Now that doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t try to work hard or have a positive mindset. Having a positive mind set can have a massive effect on our motivation, energy and success. But, we shouldn’t presume that God wants all Christians to be rich. That would be presumptuous and wrong for us to think.
