Si tratta di un film di montaggio rielaborato nell'edizione italiana, che contiene documenti visivi e sonori di eccezionale importanza storica sull'epoca della rivoluzione d'ottobre fino alla scomparsa del suo grande leader. Un discorso di Lenin che rievoca la I e la II Internazionale apre il film. Le immagini documentano la situazione in Europa alla fine della prima guerra mondiale, con particolare riferimento alla Germania e all'Ungheria, all'intervento reazionario degli eserciti di questi paesi contro la giovane Repubblica sovietica, al tentativo rivoluzionario di Béla Kun in Ungheria. Segue la rievocazione del II congresso dell'internazionale comunista, nota anche con il nome di Comintern, avvenuto nel 1920 in Unione Sovietica, con la partecipazione di delegazioni comuniste di diversi paesi del mondo; quindi il III Congresso dell'Internazionale, a Mosca nel 1921, mentre nel mondo si va sviluppando un'ondata reazionaria, e in Italia il fascismo si avvicina al potere. This is a film made of stock footage which contains some exceptional sound and visual documents of hidtorical importance concerning the October Revolution until disappearance of its great leader. The film opens with a speech by Lenin which recalls the First and the Second International. The images illustrate the situation in Europe at the end of World War One with particular reference to Germany and Hungary, the reactionary intervention of their armies against the young Soviet Republic, the revolutionary attempt by Bela Kun in Hungary. Next is the Second Congress of the Comunist International, also known as Komintern, which took place in 1920 in the Soviet Union, and which was attended by Communist delegations coming from many countries; then, the Tird Congress of the International, in 1921 in Moscow, while a reactionary wave is sweeping the world and fascism gets close to power in Italy.
