Glimpse of Two-day training of Resource Group on Child Protection by CRC

Child Resource Centre (CRC) is working as one of the unique initiatives of the Government of Rajasthan (GoR) with technical and financial support from UNICEF to build the capacity of stakeholders. CRC strives to ensure effective implementation of Child Protection laws and schemes related to children. CRC is an exclusive Centre dedicated towards catering the need to build technical expertise and creating a professional manpower hub with an aim to strengthen the workforce on children's issues. Recently Government of India has amended some laws and policies related to children and also GoR has introduced new schemes related to children. There is scarcity of social workers and professionals in Rajasthan, who have comprehensive understanding and updated knowledge about Child Protection laws, policies and their amendments. In absence of adequate knowledge it is impossible to ensure justice for every child who comes in contact with the Juvenile Justice system.
