Prosidba ( Music: Petković/Kevresan Lyrics: Vesna Petković) Vocal /Keys Gorica Sutić Vocal/Keys Vesna Petković Dog by Nora :-) Making music together with other artists helped me go through these uncertain times as smoothly as possible. I’m actually really enjoying this entire movement of online collaboration and online jamming. That’s why I plan to continue with these “home sessions” even as we’re getting back to everyday life and getting used to the “new normal”. This time, I got together with a young artist, singer and pianist, Gorica Šutić, to record my song “Prosidba”, a bonus track on “A New One” from 2007. The song is inspired by traditional folk songs and tells a story of a young couple in love. Gorica is an extremely creative artist, brimming with love and music and some sort of vocal magic happened when we sang this song together. At the end of the song, we used a motif from Gorica’s track “Senke”, which was a perfect fit and gave the song the ending it deserved. I’m so happy to share this collaboration with you!
