Guys. The Great Tiktok Fake Tourettes Fiasco is a thing. And this tiktok trend NEEDS to stop. Like guys. TICS ARE NOT A TREND!! STOP FAKING TICS. There's a new thing going around where people fake tics and tourettes to gain followers and clout. THIS IS NOT OKAY. I'M SO UPSET. UGH. Tourettes is REAL and it's HARD TO LIVE WITH. I try and give the benefit of the doubt to show that not everyone is faking tourettes, but like...ugh. There are positives and negatives to every story. Tiktok doesn't cause Tourettes though. That's a fact. As a girl with Tourette's, I would love to spread awareness and education about my disorder, as I feel it is quite misunderstood in today's society. The media has made it out to be a swearing disorder only, which is far from true. I hope this video will educate you on Tourette Syndrome and tic disorders! Life with Tourettes can be difficult, but just know that we're the same as everyone else...except for the fact we tic like clocks! (: Thanks for watching!
