Wide of funeral STORYLINE: Hundreds of mourners attended the funeral on Sunday of Sgt. Amitai Even Shushan, one of the four Israeli soldiers killed in the Gaza Strip city of Khan Younis on Saturday. According to the Israeli media the troops were killed in a battle against militants. Speaking at the funeral, his mother, Malka Shushan, called for "enough of hatred and defamation." The Israel-Hamas war has lasted six months and has become one of the most destructive, deadly, and intractable conflicts of the 21st century.
