The two six-cylinder diesel engines D2066 und D2676 of the TGX series effectively cover the performance spectrum from 360 to 540 hp at well-balanced intervals and offer a convincing blend of power and fuel efficiency as well as an excellent power-to-weight ratio. At the top of the engine range is the 680 hp V8 model D2868. Upon request, the 360 to 480 hp engines also comply with the strict limits of the EEV emission standard. The long-haul version of the V8 engine meets the EEV requirements as standard. The TGX therefore possesses the right engine, and the right variant, to suit all requirements. The MAN AdBlue® SCR system guarantees full compliance of all engine variants with the relevant emission limits. All engines make use of the pioneering common rail injection system. The combination of these two engine technologies helps to minimise fuel consumption while maximising performance.
