Since I got my Canadian passport, I've been to 9 countries, and I only applied to one of them. Now with a Nigerian passport, passport privileges were kind of a myth. I could have still gone to all these countries, but the difference is the visa application time and cost for these countries and let's not even talk about the scrutiny you face both during the application and even at the border with the immigration folks. Passport privilege is a thing, it's an unconscious bias and even systematic advantages certain passport holders get over others. Sometimes people are treated poorly based on the passport they carry. If that isn't passport privilege I don't know what is.
