They began as a band that in an interesting and unburdened way created a collage of their own ideas and rhythms spiced up with the influences of different percussionist traditions - African, Indian, Middle Eastern, Cuban, Brazilian, North-American, etc. Over time, the sound of the group has been gradually changing, to crystallize in the last years of the band's activity in the unique fusion of Western-African rhythms, colored by Croatian traditional tunes and instruments, such as bagpipes, lijerica (knee violin) and sopile, thus creating an original rhythmic and musical expression. Occasionally, they collaborated with the dancers of African and oriental dance, as well as guests on percussion and various melodic instruments. They held a large number of independent concerts and performed on numerous performances and events, always causing an excellent audience reaction. In 2007, they published the CD "TRAJ - NAJ - NAJ" in a standalone edition. They stopped working in 2008. Through Rhythm Tribe, many percussionists gained experience and honed their skills, and several percussion bands in Croatia were formed on its foundations. #drums #percussion #drumming #groove #music #afrobeats #afro #africanmusic #africa #djembe #djembefola #djembedrum #djembelove #dundun #worldmusic #ethnicmusic #ethnomusic
