Sky News contributor Michael Ware says deadly explosions in Lebanon were “clearly” bomb-making related. At least 78 people are dead, including one Australian, and four thousand more are injured after two explosions rocked the Lebanese capital. Local media outlets said the explosions happened in the Port area where warehouses held explosive materials and possibly fireworks. “The official story that came out is that this is a fireworks factory,” Mr Ware told Sky News. “The thing that puts that story to bed is the chief of Lebanese security went to inspect the site and immediately turned around and said you’d be naïve to think this is fireworks. “Do you know how many fireworks you’d have to have to have that secondary explosion? “So what we are now being told is that this is where 2,750 tonnes of ammonium nitrate has been stored. “Ammonium nitrate is a general use fertiliser and with a few simple additions it turns into massive explosive material.”
