The term "helical" refers to a shape that follows a spiral curve around a central tube or cone. This exceptional stepwell is situated in Walur Village, located in Maharashtra's Parbhani district. With spiral steps encompassing eight sides leading to the well shaft and eight Devakoshta (small shrine niches) positioned above the steps, this architectural marvel is a sight to behold. Over the years, the stepwell had fallen victim to neglect and was filled with rubbish and debris.
