Eyam (pronounced Eem) is a beautiful village in the Peak District. Popular with tourists because of its famous history in the 1600´s. This was where the bubonic plague destroyed most of its residents through infected cloth from London. Littered throughout this beautiful village with stone cottages are reminders of previous occupants and the tragedies that fell upon them.
