I tried to just paint a picture of what a day looks like in Portland. Pioneer Courthouse Square, chess, free love, the Willamette River, diversity, freaks, Saturday Market, the Park Blocks, Burnside Bridge . . . etc. I shot it on a Saturday. I used my Canon t2i (some call it a 550D), my cheap nifty fifty lens (Canon's cheapest lens - 50mm f/1.8 II - about $100), my manfrotto tripod, and . . . that's it. No filters, no sliders, no stabilizers—nothing but my cheap supplies. I found a free song, "She Dreams in Blue" by Josh Woodward, on his album "Not Quite Connected."
