Debunking Mountaineering's #1 FAKE "FACT"

This video is a bit of a different format than my usual content, however, I felt that the topic of this video was an important one to address head on, as the only way to defeat mass misinformation such as this, that has become so widespread that it has become ingrained as 'fact' by the greater public at large, is to raise awareness of just how egregiously incorrect such claims are upon closer inspection. In this video, we'll be breaking down the numbers, and busting mountaineering's longtime #1 myth, hopefully for good! [This footage is clearly recognized as such by YouTube...]I ended up using ~2-5 seconds of footage from the very beginning of the jump footage in the public video, and it INSTANTLY got the video flagged and auto-demonetized until it was reviewed by a human who could see that I didn't actually include anything graphic in the video, this also happened with the footage in the public Lukla Airport Disaster as well which is a death sentence for a video in the algorithm, a sentiment I'm sure other creators on the platform with similar issues would attest. Wow, this description is getting entirely out of hand in its length at this point....But I suppose it's bound to happen from time to time when I write them all from scratch for every video.
