The carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e) is a simple, but major value amongst the measurement and monitoring of Net Zero goals and targets. This value takes Global Warming Potential (GWP) a step further, in establishing quantitative values for greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. The result is a practical number that is easy to compare and contrast against one other. This video elaborates on how this is calculated, whilst walking you through some examples of what this might look like for a pair of different GHG’s, relevant to an industrial operation.
