The seminar, titled “Grassroots Insights to Sustainable Pathways” aims to explore the deep-rooted challenges facing rural education in India, from teacher shortages and poor infrastructure to the disconnect between classroom learning and the everyday realities of children. Mainstream systems often fail to contextualize curricula and policy, leaving children behind and effectively denying their Right to Education. The seminar will discuss how local insights can inform sustainable, inclusive approaches to rural education. The day-long seminar will begin with an Inaugural Keynote. This will be followed by a ‘Landscape Panel’ consisting of representatives from established NGOs and academicians discussing the themes listed. This will be followed by a ‘Spotlight Panel’ featuring case studies and individuals actively working in rural education. We will end with a Concluding Keynote. Anekdhara is hosting a seminar cum webinar on the issue as detailed below.
