Hiiiii time for a new one, this time recorded on my favorite Mediterranean island! But, don’t let the first impression of those cute flowers fool you 😏 — this is a DARK set that evolves alongside the sun setting behind the mountains of Cyprus 🌅 It begins with a trippy PSY-Techno vibe, and as the night deepens, the atmosphere grows darker and darker with deep Minimal Techno grooves. 🛸 Compared to some of my other sets, this one has a slower, more steady pace, with the BPM hovering between 128-132. But just as the flowers might mislead you, don’t be fooled by the lower BPMs — there’s definitely an intensity lurking beneath the surface 😈 ❇️ BIG BIG BIG THANK YOU to Sound & Vision By DJ Nick in Limassol Cyprus that made this recording possible to be made through their DJ-equipment rental service! I paid full price for my stay, so this isn’t a collaboration, just a genuine recommendation! ⭐ https://www.zimacyprus.com/property/z... 🎥 It’s been a while since I recorded an outdoor set with changing light conditions, and I’d forgotten how tricky video editing becomes when filming in this way. Both colour adjusting but also two of my cameras start drifting with the frame rate in darker lighting, which makes syncing the video and audio perfectly veeeery challenge during the video editing. So, if something feels off with the video in this set, now you know why!
