Hey everyone! Here's the next episode of Brewster's Millions Of Rants with Jake E. Lee's Fills Of Fury. I've had a lot of requests to feature more of Jake E. Lee's timeless and inspiring music, and since the horrific shooting that occurred in October, he's been on all of our minds a lot lately. This episode is tribute to him and his music - so let's dive in! This lesson revolves around a series of fills that appear in the classic Ozzy track 'Centre Of Eternity' from the classic 1983 album Bark At The Moon. I distinctly remember as an early teenager listening to this song and trying to figure out the fills that Jake played. The first one he plays in the song caught my ears and attention right off the bat, but then I noticed the song was literally covered in tasty fills that Jake sprinkled in there. From fast little bursts of open string legato ideas to screaming pinch harmonic bends that blur into blues scales, additional open string ideas, tapped melodic phrases, intervallic licks, and much more! Needless to say, if you're a fan of Jake E. Lee, classic Ozzy music from the 1980s, a player looking for some slick fills to stick in their bag of tricks, or maybe you're just curious what all the fuss is about - this lesson is totally for you!
