ADV ITALIA! - Pt 1. Passo Dordona

I have an Italian Adventure Bike. Some might call me foolish to imagine that I could actually use the Aprilia Tuareg 660 for some actual adventuring. But here‘s the thing. That‘s exactly why I bought it! So here I am in northern Italy, looking to take on as much off roading as my little knobblies will let me. (The tyres, not my old knees!) On day 1, I left Innsbruck in terrible weather, crossed over the Stelvio Pass with freezing temps and snow before stopping in Fusine at Bar Trutalli. Not just for a much needed coffee and a pastry, but also to pay the 5 € fee required to ride over the Dordona Pass. Paved on one side and rough as a badger‘s… attitude on the other, it was a challenging but rewarding way to blow the dust off the off road skills.
