Video footage from June 5th, 2021. This run was done on the PC port, however, I wouldn't consider this better than my PS4 run. The major difference between the PC port and console versions is the timing methods, where PC uses loadless timing and console versions use RTA (real time) timing. This means that the PC port appears "faster," however, if you compared my console pb and this pb with all loading scenes removed, the PC run would be slower. In addition, there's no difference in strats between the ports, so the run is almost the same (there are a few minor things I think are different on PC but that's a different conversation). Overall, I still think the console version is the best version to do speedruns on, but that will only change if Square ever decides to patch the PC port with it's crashing and audio issues. However, I am just uploading this run for documentation purposes because the way the leaderboards are organized at the time of upload (and also the fact that I have input display on since I don't have many runs with that on in case people want to reference this run). Lastly, if people are curious on why I have not been uploading a lot recently, it's mainly because I'm occupied with school and streaming (and content creation in general) has become a less of a priority for me. I might stream occasionally, but honestly, it's currently not in my best interests at the moment. Just felt I should address this to my YouTube audience I have mentioned this numerous times on stream, but this might not be obvious on highlights that I upload. Hope you can understand!
