Diploma Diaries - Term 2 - Weeks 9 & 10 - Stacking Rings

The final creative project for term two of our Diploma In Silver Jewellery is a set of four stacking rings 💍 Each of the bands is made from a thinner gauge of metal (1.5mm) and are a lovely mix of metals, textures, and decorative elements 💫 We know 9ct gold is a lot harder to work with than higher carats, but we also have to take into account affordability, and the recent surge in precious metal prices makes it challenging to include gold in a learning environment 💸 However, working with it is a key skill for any jeweller to have knowledge of, and we want our students to be able to experience this whilst they have access to clear guidance and support 🫶 In this week’s diary episode Kelly talks about how she got on using gold for the second time, and the lessons she learned from her first attempt! 🙌 If you’d like to know more about this particular course or any of our other Diplomas then head here https://www.jewellersacademy.com/dipl...
