Join us on a winter van journey to discover the natural sulphur pools and hot springs of Georgia 🇬🇪 Join us in our (t)rusty old LDV Convoy on our adventures across Georgia 🇬🇪 In this episode of our van travel series we leave Turkey behind us, with one final stop in the Black Sea region to stay in a traditional Laz Konak house in the city of Hopa, where we meet a musician who performs some Black Sea music for us. We enter the country of Georgia through its most hectic border crossing, Sarpi, and get a taste of how challenging winter van travel in Georgia can be. We spend a few days wild camping in our camper van around Vani, Imereti region, before we discover Georgia's natural sulphur pools, bathing in the Dikhashkho Sulfur Geyser hot springs. Finally we visit the Nokalakevi waterfall sulphur springs, some of the hottest springs we’ve ever bathed in, and make friends with some stray dogs.
