In this episode i show you what needs to be done to fit a Subaru Liberty Spec B Shifter Assembly into a SF5 Forester. If you are doing an Auto to Manual swap like myself you will need to get the rear shifter bush. i picked up the whiteline KDT958 kit Get it here: https://amzn.to/3V1Mr5A You will need to shorten both shifter rods The Shifter Stay Assembly part number 35031AG020 which is the one with the cup in it to hold the shifter need 25mm taken off it The Gear Selector Rod part number 35041AG020 needs 40mm taken off it from the shifter end and a 3mm rotation to get the shifter to sit in the centre. i also put 8mm spacers on the gearbox mounts or the gear selector rod and shifter linkage would foul on the transmission tunnel.
