Fantastic 1983 demo by A.P.F. Brigade for a proposed ep on Crass which sadly never materialised. Band picture used in this video lifted from their 1980 "Live Brigade" tape. The 2 articles are from Fack #6 (1981) and New Crimes #4 (1980). Tracklist: 01) Disease 02) Scared To Die 03) Carve It Up 04) Atomic Dawn To Census Forms 05) Anti Battery 06) Fox's Tale Jon Hindle, Andi-war (Xport) and their drum machine Livingstone hailed from Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, England. As A.P.F. (Anarchy Peace Freedom, of course) Brigade they 1st caught people's eye with their track "anarchist attack" on the Bullshit Detector compilation. In love with cassette culture, that was then also immediately to be their last appearance on vinyl. They did record this here demo for Crass for a potential EP in 1983, but it sadly never happened. The legendary Live Brigade was their 1st, and most notable tape, which saw the band record every single one live onto a C-60, sending it off without making a copy, making each totally unique. Allegedly only 4 copies were made and sold, but thankfully one had surfaced and is available online. Any Xport is still making great music to this day.
