Visiting a Swedish winery on Etna where Normans dominated, therefor the winery name Terre Normanne = Norman Lands. This visit I tasted both the rosé and red wine. Look closely at the label. It looks very simple Scandinavian, but the circles represents the warrior viking chain mail made of iron to cover head, arms and torso to be used in combat. Terre Normanne is a new vineyard on the northern side of Etna, project started 2020. To this day two styles are produced, rose and red wine, both from Nerello Mascalese. The white is upcoming which will be made from Carricante. Soon the vineyards total area with other space, will reach 13 hectars. Wines are available on their website. My name is Johanna.
