As soon as information about the incident was received, the police completely sealed the area outside the police station and senior officers reached the spot and took stock of the situation. A bomb disposal squad was called to identify the suspicious object and security was increased in the area. Considering the seriousness of the incident, police investigation is ongoing. It is not yet clear whether this object is a real bomb or someone had placed it there with the intention of spreading panic. The matter is still under investigation and the situation will become clear only after getting detailed information.
