Along the way, you can hear the good screaming sound that this bus makes from its Voith, as this unit is one of the loudest unit in the VTA fleet. Unlike some units, this one you can hear the screaming well inside the bus, not just the outside! This unit also preserved the original couches that VTA used to offer, instead of the brand-new cushions on their other newer Gillig units or the New Flyers. As the 3400 series fleet started to be coming in service, many of the runs are using them rather than these older Gilligs. We are also seeing a trend of reduced 1000 series buses being out in service, as they are the oldest batch in the entire VTA fleet, and they are slated to be replacing all the 2001 and 2002 Gillig Low Floors, and at that point I think there are no more good things to specifically be fanning, as I am not going that far to just to get boring Gilligs or New Flyers.
