Megger RTMS: Click-On-Fault Feature for Testing Impedance Relays

In this video you will learn how test any impedance relay with any characteristic including Mho, Quadrilateral and load encroachment. In addition, you will see how to test complex characteristics with MHO, Quadrilateral and load encroachment combined. The Click-On-Fault test feature allows for up to six (6) zones of protection with each zone being capable of or Line-to-Ground, Line-to-Line and Three Phase fault types. Furthermore, the Click-On-Fault feature performs testing in forward and reverse direction as required by your relay settings and includes validating the delay timers associated with each zone of protection. Megger's RTMS (Relay Test Management Software) is designed to manage all aspects of protective relay testing when using the Megger SMRT Family of Relay Test Units. The same software also runs on the STVI, Smart Touch View Interface Hand-held controller for the SMRT family of units. The SMRT Family of Relay Test Units are light-weight, field portable test sets capable of testing a wide variety of electro-mechanical, solid-state and microprocessor-based protective relays, motor overload relays and similar protective devices. Megger’s RTMS Relay Test Management Software provides the tools you need to create a full body relay settings page regardless of the complexity of your relay. It includes a tool to directly download settings from Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) relays over serial and other relays which support relay settings over Modbus, such as most GE Multilin relays. Overcurrent relays, overvoltage relays, undervoltage relays and all differential relay test features can be added to the test report with the push of a button.
