To ensure public safety, elaborate security arrangements have been made, including large-scale police deployment and intensive checking across the capital. As part of the security plan, 18 platoons of force will be deployed across Bhubaneswar, with naka checking at 18 locations and strict police surveillance at 29 junctions. Five Quick Reaction Teams (QRTs) will remain on alert, and watch teams will conduct continuous checks. QRT patrols will also be active after midnight on Zero Night.
