Is Final Fantasy 7 Remake in 2024 Worth Playing Final Fantasy 7 remake, or FFVII remake, came out in 2020, 4 years ago, and it received a ton of praise and also a some criticism for all of the changes that the remake made. You still have the main characters here: Cloud, Tifa, Barrett, and of course Aerith! But this game only takes place in Final Fantasy 7's Midgard. I picked this game up when it initially launched in 2020 and I didn't love it. In fact, I really didn't like it. However, this was because I hadn't played The Original Final Fantasy 7 (or The Original Final Fantasy VII) yet. This year however, 2024, I played and beat The Original Final Fantasy 7 and I loved it! So next I thought it was time to give Final Fantasy 7 Remake another shot. And I'm so glad I did because I fell in love with so many aspects of this game! But I also still don't like a few things, which will of course be discussed in the video! But, it's been 4 years since Final Fantasy 7 Remake, or Final Fantasy VII Remake, has been released.
