TerpHogz launch: ECS Botanics expands into Europe

ECS Botanics Managing Director Nan-Maree Schoerie talked with Proactive about the company’s recent performance, product expansion, and the upcoming European launch of TerpHogz. ECS Botanics is an Australian medicinal cannabis producer with GMP certification and organic credentials, allowing it to supply both domestic and international markets including Germany and the UK. Schoerie highlighted the company’s strong value proposition based on quality assurance and patient safety, underpinned by its organic and GMP-certified cultivation. "We're uniquely organic—no one else in Australia is organic—and also we have a GMP facility," she said. The interview outlined ECS’s transition from a B2B model to launching its own consumer-facing brand. That B2C shift has quickly proven successful, with more than 50% of current revenue now coming from ECS-branded products. This required the launch of 25 new products and the hiring of a new sales force, but has already paid off with the company now ranked in the top ten among over 100 cannabis brands in the Australian market. Schoerie also discussed the upcoming European debut of TerpHogz, describing it as “probably one of the most iconic, if not the most iconic, cannabis brands in the world.” She noted that ECS has secured rights to the original Z genetic, well known among global consumers and anticipated to perform strongly in the German market.
