The highest wind speed I have recorded before when camping was 58mph so tonight I had out with my strongest tent in a mad forecast too try and record the magic 60mph... I must addd that I am very familiar with the location and have a plan A, B, and C. I am very well accustomed to this type of camping and it's well within my experience level.
