Yonder Mountain String Band w/ Darol Anger - 7/1/01 - Dexter Lake Music Festival, Morning Workshop

This set was performed at the Dexter Lake Music Festival on the morning of July 1st, 2001. I co-produced this event with Silver People Presents out of Eugene, Oregon. This festival was the spark that led to the birth of the Northwest String Summit, an event my company, Segue Productions, founded and independently produced the next summer (2002) at Horning's Hideout just outside of Portland, Oregon. The String Summit continues to this day. I love the cameo of my young pup, Miles, at the 30:15 mark of the video. Also special thanks to Kevin Kagarice in the front row for capturing the excellent audio on this un-amplified set (where are you these days Kevin?). Note the audio problems in the beginning of the video do not last very long. My apologies but this VHS has been sitting in a box in my garage for the better part of 20 years. I hope you enjoy.
