The Stab/Pilot freeze is a basic ground freeze that you will need to learn in order to perform other ground freezes such as the baby freeze Tips for mastering the Stab/Pilot Freeze: -Turn your stabbing hand to the side or backward to allow your elbow to come into your stomach -Choose a spot that is most comfortable for you between your belly button and hip bone to place your elbow -Lower your chest in order to allow your legs to come up vs. kicking your legs up off the floor -Your chest will determine your weight distribution between your upper and lower half of your body -Lean slightly to the side of your stabbing arm in your to center your body over your stabbing hand -If you are falling, counterbalance by leaning your weight into the opposite direction you are falling -Most of the weight should be on your stabbing hand, your other hand is there to help you balance -Practice different leg positions in order to feel different weight and balance points If you like this video and would like more tutorials like this, do me a favor and “Like” the video and “Share” it with at least 3 people.
