How To Reverse a Cooler Door ► NewAir

Wondering how to reverse a door on a NewAir wine or beverage cooler? At NewAir, our mission is to create products that perfectly fit your lifestyle. That’s why many of our Wine and Beverage Coolers have doors that can be reversed, to open from the left or from the right. In this video, we go over a few quick tips for reversing the door on your NewAir Wine Cooler. If you have a cooler with a reversible door, make sure you consult the Owner’s Manual included, with your cooler, for instructions specific to your model. Tools you’ll need: Philips head screwdriver Flat head screwdriver When removing the door, be sure to avoid applying lateral pressure as this may damage the pins in the hinges. Some compressor coolers require you to access the bottom of the unit to reverse the door. Try to limit the amount of time the cooler spends in a horizontal position. After you’re finished, let your cooler stand in an upright position for an hour before plugging it back in to prevent damage to the compressor. Make sure you store the hinge hardware in a safe location so you always have the option to reverse the position of the door again.
