An active author, researcher, and clinician, Dr. Chang is an in-demand speaker for eyecare professionals. In 2020, Dr. Chang was named “Top Doc” by the NKCF in recognition of his outstanding care to patients with keratoconus. Dr. Chang is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. After focusing on ocular disease management in his residency program, Dr. Chang further trained at The Cornea and Laser Eye Institute in New Jersey to complete a Cornea and Contact Lens fellowship during which Dr. Chang devoted his research efforts on corneal crosslinking and care of patients with keratoconus. Currently, Dr. Chang is the Director of Specialty Contact Lenses on the Cornea Service at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia. He is also part of the Medical Affairs team at Glaukos, which manufactures the only FDA approved crosslinking device and riboflavin solutions for the treatment of progressive keratoconus On the first day of each month, NKCF will release a new 20-minute episode of Chang Reaction.
