Along the way, we discovered a hidden craft store before sitting down for what turned out to be the worst meal of our trip — an all-you-can-eat yakiniku (Japanese BBQ) that sadly didn’t live up to expectations. After dinner, we headed to DenDen Town, often called Osaka’s Akihabara, to shop for Pokémon cards, anime and gaming merchandise, and gachapon machines. In the evening, we returned to Dotonbori, passing by countless eye-catching restaurants and experiencing the eccentric night views. To finish the day, we tried takoyaki (Osaka’s famous octopus balls) and egg tarts, giving us the perfect food redemption!
