This is a Motormouth couple car review of the all-new 2025 Subaru Forester Hybrid, compact SUV. The 2025 Subaru Forester Hybrid is powered by a 2.5L 4-cylinder e-Boxer hybrid, it’s matched to a lineartronic CVT and has a combined 194 horsepower, maximum torque is 199 lb-ft. This hybrid has a 1.1 kWh battery and comes standard with Symmetrical full-time AWD. There is just one 2025 Subaru Forester Hybrid trim in Canada and it’s the top trim so what you see in these photos is what you get. In the US, there are four trims available with more affordable options. Initially, when we saw the Forester hybrid at the Chicago Auto Show for the first time, we were a little worried about the power at 194 horsepower. Well, my concerns are gone, acceleration is good especially when passing on the highway. The cabin is fairly quiet, there is a little bit of wind noise on the highway but nothing to be concerned about. 2025 Subaru Forester Hybrid standard features in both the US and Canada include, an 11.6” touchscreen with navigation, a 12.3” digital driver display, a power driver’s seat, heated front seats, a panoramic sunroof and a hands-free power liftgate. In Canada, since there is only one 2025 Subaru Forester Hybrid trim, it comes loaded with the extras like a wireless charger, 360-camera, 11-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, ventilated front seats, 8-way power passenger seat, a heated steering wheel, leather upholstery with ultra-suede inserts and heated rear seats. These features are available in the US. In Canada, the 2025 Subaru Forester Hybrid is $51,018 CAD. This includes, freight, PDI and fees. In the US (MSRP) Premium hybrid $36,595 USD, Sport hybrid $39,595 USD, Limited hybrid $41,010 USD, Touring hybrid $43,295 USD. 2025 Subaru Forester Hybrid Fuel Economy, it gets 6.8L/100 km, 35 MPG city and 7L/100 km, 34 MPG highway.
