First Sunday Service in 2026: Church Urges Government to Prioritize Security & Youth Empowerment.

As Christians in Ilorin the Kwara State capital, marked the first Sunday service of 2026, church leaders and worshippers have urged governments at all levels to prioritize the security of lives and property while creating an enabling environment for youths, especially unemployed graduates, to thrive.They stressed that any nation that neglects its youth cannot be taken seriously among progressive nations. The call was made during church services across Ilorin, where concerns were raised over the worsening security situation in Nigeria. According to them, travelling across the country has become increasingly risky due to banditry and kidnapping, while many educated youths remain unemployed.
