Star Ocean Anamnesis Battle Theme (Bright All-Stars) - Keyboard Cover

I figured it was about time I did another Star Ocean battle theme. This time, I covered the main battle theme from the most recent Star Ocean game: Star Ocean Anamnesis. This one is a mobile game and has only three original soundtrack pieces that I'm aware of which are the Star Ocean Anamensis main theme, this one (the battle theme Bright All-Stars), and the boss theme named Barbed Fields. This is also my first time using an analog synth for the lead parts of one of these battle theme covers. It definitely fits into the mix quite differently when first recorded. I like how it sounds though. I was pretty happy with how this one turned out. I played bass guitar which I felt helped the mix feel more natural, but I did end up using programmed drums which I feel are definitely inferior to its acoustic counterpart. The rhythm part of this track tends to blend together and not really have as much definition as I would have liked, but maybe I should just play something other than whole note sustained three note chords on organ and synth pad for the entire song... I also added some cool looking re-skinned Star Ocean logos in where I didn't have video of a keyboard part. These are courtesy of Wolfcry.
