Japanese vegan street food at Sai Plant Deli in Vancouver where we went to try their savory Japanese oyakis for the first time! This small, 100% plant-based deli shares a space with Vegan Pudding Co., known for its soy and coconut-based vegan puddings—but on this visit, we focused on the savory side and skipped the sweet oyakis and desserts. We ordered four oyakis (greens & garlic, potato, keema, and eggplant were in the mix!) and waited about 10 minutes at the sidewalk counter while they warmed them up fresh for us. The setup is super casual—a tiny takeout window with limited space, perfect for grab-and-go vegan eats. Sai Plant Deli is known for:✅ Fully vegan menu✅ Japanese-inspired dumplings (oyaki)✅ House-made fillings✅ Minimalist street-side service Watch to find out:👉 Which oyakis were our favourites👉 What we thought of the flavours and portions👉 And whether we’d come back again! 💚 If you enjoyed this episode, don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more vegan food reviews around Vancouver and beyond! sai plant deli by Vegan Pudding & Co.
