I compared and reviewed the RunningSnail MD-088, Raynic CR1009 Pro, and the Midland ER310 emergency radios. I also compared how well they charge with solar and hand crank. I learned something after testing the radios that surprised me. Finally, I demonstrated using the weather alert warning button during an actual severe thunderstorm. NOTE: After the testing and posting the video, I decided to see how well they charge my cell phone. After charging up the radios to 100%, I charged my phone with them until the radios stop charging... Raynic charged 47% of my phone until the radio battery went dead. This radio has a 5,000 mAh battery and it used all of it. RunningSnail charged 19% of my phone, but the radio continued to work. Midland charged only 7%. I tested it twice, and the radio continued to work. The nice thing about this radio is it has the S.A.M.E. Technology which allows you to narrow down the alert area, but it is expensive, and I don't care for the tuning dials. It also tips over a little easier than my other radios. I think it lists for over $120.00, and last time I checked it was $90.00 on Amazon. https://amzn.to/3Ff5qkB This description page contains Amazon affiliate links.
