The Center for Victims of Torture provides mental health counseling to survivors of torture and war in Africa and the Middle East. Catherine Mwangi Nyaga, a counselor with CVT's Nairobi healing initiative, describes a 10-week group counseling cycle for refugees who fled conflict in their home countries.
