Not an effect pedal this time but an amp. This is the “Small Box Plexi '69 50 Lead” kit from Modulus Amplification (https://modulusamplification.com/smal.... It’s a clone of the Marshall 50 watt JMP “Plexi” guitar amplifier with a nod to the 1969 specs. And it is very loud. The demo track features the kit in all it’s glory; I have not used any effect pedals on the guitar but I have added some reverb and delay in the mix. The kit was reasonably straight forward to build but you do need to have some knowledge of amps and be used to dealing with electrical circuits. The warnings about high voltages and needing to know how to discharge filter caps are real! I did hit an issue that turned out to be related to the phase inverter. I just messaged Modulus and they diagnosed the issue immediately. Very helpful. Anyway, it’s a great amp and I’m really pleased with it.
