MP2002-429 Former President Truman Discusses the Truman Library

In this Screen Gems out take, Harry S. Truman stands in the lobby of the Harry S. Truman Library and speaks about the Library being an archives rather than a library. He says it will become a center for the study of the presidency. There is a scene showing children getting off a school bus. Mr. Truman’s voice can be heard over this clip saying “and, of course, there are the young people.” The Screen Gems Collection includes the out takes from the filming of the "Decisions" television series, recorded in the early 1960s.
