Cheating and getting cheated on are both terrible feelings, at least for most people. In this week's video I open up about how it felt to break my own principles and cheat on my long-distance boyfriend, what I learned from it and how it has changed the way I think about relationships. I think people are too quick to unleash their moral outrage as soon as the subject of infidelity comes up. There's still no excuse for lying or cheating on someone you've committed to, and it can ruin relationships, but it happens just like any other lapse in judgement. Acting holier than thou, refusing any empathy, or pretending like we aren't all human doesn't stop the world from cheating--it just makes it more necessary for people to lie about it.
