00:00 Intro (passing the JLPT doesn't necessarily mean you're proficient) 00:50 The Most Important Thing 01:09 Why Reading is the Best Way: Reason #1 02:25 Why Reading is the Best Way: Reason #2 04:04 Why Reading is the Best Way: Reason #3 05:13 What to Read With 07:24 How Should I read? 09:39 Learning Vocabulary 11:18 Conclusion One thing I forgot to mention: even if you can understand your input, building an intuitive "feel" for the language will still take a long time, so don't feel frustrated if you can understand but still don't have that "feel" fully developed. Be patient. It will come eventually. I feel like I'm gonna get crucified for telling people to not studying grammar, so just to reiterate what I said in the video: you CAN study grammar and it might be helpful, but I don't believe it should be used as anything beyond an aid to your main study, which is immersion. I am only trying to change the view that many people have that grammar and textbooks are necessary to pass the JLPT N1. They are not. Getting good at the language (with a heavy focus on reading) is the easiest and most efficient way in my opinion.
