Oceania's Song is a 21-minute 360º immersive Sound Healing experience created by the Earth Echo collective. It features Humpback Whale songs recorded by The Oceania Project (Mark Franklin, Trish Franklin and Wally Franklin), who have been capturing the sounds of whales, dolphins and other marine life in the waters around Australia since 1988. This piece also features binaural and hydrophone recordings by field recordist Rafael Diogo (Deep Dive Sound) captured off the Australian coast in 2017. In December 2022, Oceania's Song was transcoded on the Polygon Live stage at the Wonderfruit festival (polygon-productions.com). It was featured as a 360° sound journey, combined with scent dispersion, to create a fully immersive sensory experience. ----------------------- Earth Echo is a collective of sound healers, sound engineers and musicians; bringing wildlife sounds from remote habitats to amplify nature’s resonance, re-imagining earth through our senses using the power of sound. We source high quality wildlife recordings from talented field recordists around the world, combining advanced audio techniques with ancient sound healing practices to create 360º meditative sensory healing experiences. So far, our work has been entirely self-funded. We're on a mission to raise the awareness of “Sound Health”, and the benefits all of us can experience from being kind to our senses. Our goal is to reawaken the deep connection between Human Consciousness, the Earth and Nature. Our content is not only designed for human health, but also to support the habitats where the content came from. A fifth of our profits go towards Earth Causes that serve, protect and preserve the wildlife featured in our soundscapes. This track in particular supports The Oceania Project and the Captain Watson Foundation. If you enjoyed our immersive content and events, please follow, like, share and subscribe. Our online content is always free for everyone to experience, so if you’d like to support our cause and continual efforts, please subscribe to us on Patreon for as little as £3 per month: / earthecho The Earth Echo Collective.
