I was bombrushed at Angels Primary School. Reigniting the Village. School Tour. Speaker Focus. My gift continues to make room for me. I had the pleasure of sharing with the students at Angels Primary School on the topic, reigniting the village. It takes a village to raise a child, but even more so with the staggering statistics of 73000 children are orphans, 15% live in crippling poverty and another 60% have experience tragedy in their family. Three things now needed to reunite the village are: parent child relationship mentor mentee outside of the home practice to prioritize mental health. Our culture says, see and blind, hear and deaf. But we are saying, 1. create a safe space for our children 2. Generate happiness and positive energy where ever you are 3. teach our children to be satisfied 4. practice gratitude 5. maintain good health care 6. Be our brothers keeper If we practice the above and do as Jesus said in the story of the good Samaritan, then we can go and do likewise. The task of reigniting the Village won't be such a huge task but rather easier for everyone and our children being our greatest benefactors. What are some ways we can reignite our village/community?
