This song was a hugely sucessful hit for The Police, winning many accolades. It is, at first glance, a comforting love song, but there are sinister undercurrents of unwanted attention and control, that ramp up the power of the lyrics. The song was also used in the TV show "Glee." This arrangement is for mixed three-part choir and piano, the male voice line is suitable for any voice, tenor or bass, and it is written in two clefs to suit all singers. It is not too difficult, and there is some repetition. I have catagorised it as intermediate in difficulty. I also have versions for women's choirs.
